Uterine Sarcoma
			This is a hysterectomy specimen that has been opened to reveal a mass filling the cavity of the uterus and invading into the myometrium. This is the most common type of uterine sarcoma called a mixed mullerian tumor (MMT). These cancers are not as common as epithelial adenocarcinomas. Even early stage MMT will require adjuvant radiation and/or chemotherapy after hysterectomy.
